My first blog post ever. I never wanted to get into this blog thing, but I do believe it will be the easiest way for family and friends to get the latest news and to see pictures. Also, it will prevent me from sending out mass emails.
I will include links to information on Gambia, the Peace Corps, and other related subjects. I also hope to include many pictures of the life, land, and times of my experience.

My Peace Corps Volunteer Experience in The Gambia. I will be working at the National Nutrition Agency which runs every nutrition program in the country including, salt iodization, vitamin A supplementation, anemia control, etc. I'm a Registered Dietitian interested in international work.
