First week of volunteering is complete. Things seem they will be alright. I'm already working on a brochure about diabetes that the workers can hand out to the patients after they educate them about their condition.
My room is looking up to speed also; with new curtains, some authentic African wall decoration, and a few candles make it my own.
My roommate is friends with a few of the ex-pats living nearby at the Medical Research Company (a British org.) who just happen to have a sand volleyball court, which I was fortunate enough to play yesterday, which also makes me a very happy PCV. I planned on not playing volleyball for the next 27 months of my life. Theres also talk of "beach, touch rugby" - sign me up. Anything for a sport that gives me some exercise and that isn't related to soccer. I'm stilll looking into finding somewhere to get a surfboard.
OK, Hope everyone is well.

Very very cool: volleyball and rugby!! We are following very closely.
Everything is progressing along (not as planned) here, but progressing just the same. I think we like it better without plans and maybe we should just stop planning all together huh?
Has moms package arrived yet?
No package yet. Dad handled the postage responsibilities so it may get here by the end of my two years. Yeah, no plans are good plans.
We also experienced problems when shipping. We have 2-3 packages that we will be sending staggered to keep inventories up...
